Enrollment Information
HOW TO APPLY TO FARIA FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR:
January 5, 2026 to FEBRUARY 13, 2026
Step 1: Register your child with the Student Assignment Office
For new students, registration must be completed to receive a Perm ID#
For matriculating students, your student has a Perm ID# and that can be retrieved through ParentVue or through the office at the school they currently attend.
Please visit: Student Assignment for registration information or contact your attendance area/neighborhood school.
Registration will be opened from January 5, 2026 through February 13, 2026
Step 2: Attend a Parent Information Meeting
You must register for a meeting via one of the following links: Mandatory Parent Information Meetings Registration:
#1 Meeting: Tuesday, January 27th from 2:00pm to 3:30pm (Virtual - Register for this meeting)
#2 Meeting: Friday, January 30th from 8:30am to 10:00am (In person - Register for this meeting).
#3 Meeting: Wednesday, February 4th from 8:30am to 10:00am (Virtual - Register for this meeting)
#4 Meeting: Thursday, February 12th from 8:30am to 10:00am (In person - Register for this meeting)
You must have a Perm ID# for your student to register. If you have a sibling currently attending the alternative school, this meeting is not required (but you MUST register to receive a perm ID# to apply during Open Enrollment)
Step 3: Apply via the Open Enrollment link
The link will be on the CUSD website and will be live at 8:00 am February 2, 2026 and will close at 4:00 pm on February 13, 2026
Absolutely no exceptions will be made for these Deadlines.
The Priority Open Enrollment Lottery will be run on or before February 27th, 2026. Waitlist will be posted no later than March 13th, 2026. Waitlist numbers will be reset at the beginning of each year. If you wish to continue to be considered for enrollment at Faria Elementary, you MUST join a meeting and apply for Open Enrollment each year.
