Kindergarten
2025-26 Classroom Supply List
CUSD provides all necessary supplies for student learning. The items listed below should be brought by your child either on Wednesday, August 13th (classroom walk-thru) or on Thursday, August 14th (first day of school).
- Backpack (the backpack should fit into a 11” x 21” x 6” cubby.)
- Extra sets of clothes in a Ziploc bag labeled with your child’s name (Please include a shirt, pants/shorts, underwear, and socks.)
Additionally, students may choose to bring their own:
- Headphones in a Ziploc bag labeled with your child’s name (The headphones can NOT be the type that need to be charged, nor should they be wireless.)
Voluntary donations of the following items are accepted, but not expected. Voluntary donations for the classroom may be brought in the second week of school. These are community items that will be shared between all Kindergarten classrooms, so it’s not necessary to label any items with your child’s name.
- 12 jumbo white glue sticks - 1.27 oz (Please do not buy the clear glue or purple glue.)
- 1 bottle of Elmer’s Washable No Run School Glue, 4 ounces (white and dries clear)
- 2 reams of white copy paper
- 1 large package of baby wipes (These should not be disinfectant wipes.)
- 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
- Crayola broad-tip markers, box of 10
- One box of tissues (family size)

1st Grade

Additionally, students may choose to bring their own:
- One set of personal corded (not Bluetooth) headphones (not earbuds) in a Ziploc bag labeled with your child’s name. Please ensure that the headphones are NOT the type that need to be charged.
Voluntary donations of the following items are accepted, but not expected. Voluntary donations for the classroom may be brought in the second week of school. These are community items that will be shared between all students, so it’s not necessary to label any items with your child’s name.
- One LARGE Avery glue stick -- NOT liquid glue and NOT purple disappearing glue
- Amazon description: Avery Glue Stick White, 1.27 oz., Washable, Nontoxic, Permanent glue sticks
- Two reams of high-quality printer paper
- Two boxes of family-size facial tissues
- One bottle of hand sanitizer
- Two packages of baby wipes (NOT disinfectant wipes)

Below are voluntary donations that may be brought on Curriculum Night:
- 1 bottle of Softsoap brand liquid hand soap
- 1 ream of white copy paper
- 1 pkg of baby wipes
- 2 boxes of Kleenex or Puffs brand facial tissues with lotion
- 1 roll of paper towels

Voluntary donations of the following items are accepted, but not expected. Voluntary donations for the classroom may be brought on the First Day of School. These are community items that will be shared between all students, so it’s not necessary to label any items with your child’s name.
- One (1 only) small pencil pouch
- Two (2) fine-line black felt pens (no Sharpies)
- Three (3) red ballpoint pens
- One small box of colored pencils (12 or 24 count)
- One (1) highlighter
- Two (2) large glue sticks
- One box of sharpened Ticonderoga #2 pencils
- SSR Book (to read during SSR time)
- One pair of headphones (not wireless)
Voluntary donations for the classroom may be brought in the second week of school:
- Two (2) boxes of family-size facial tissues
- One large bottle of hand sanitizer (approx. 33 oz. bottle)
- Two (2) packages of baby wipes

- Mechanical Pencils

Voluntary donations of the following items are accepted, but not expected. Voluntary donations for the classroom may be brought on the First Day of School if they wish to have their own.
- 24 sharpened No. 2 pencils No mechanical pencils
- 2 erasers
- 1 supply pouch (large, not a box) No pencil boxes
- 3 red correcting (ballpoint, not Sharpie) pens.
- 6 black felt (wet ink, not a Sharpie) pens
- 2 boxes colored pencils, thin (16 count each)
- 1 box markers, thin (16 count)
- 1 expanding organizer (pre-labeled before the first day of school: Homework, Language Arts, Writing, Reading, Math, Social Studies, Science, Other, Paper)
- 1 small pencil sharpener with a container to hold shavings
- 1 ream wide-ruled binder paper
- 1 ream ¼ inch graph paper
- 2 Composition Books (7 ½” x 9 ¾”)
- 1 ruler (inches and metric)
- 1 pair child scissors
- 1 small glue stick
- 1 protractor
- 1 silent reading book
- 1 set of headphones or earbuds for online assessments (place in ziplock bag labeled with name and room #)
Please unpack all supplies and label all items with the student’s name before the first day of school. We will store your child’s overflow items in the classroom for use when they need them later.
Voluntary donations for the classroom may be brought in the second week of school:
- 3 boxes soft Kleenex tissue
- 2 containers Green Works (non-disinfecting)
- 1 package baby wipes
- 1 ream of printer/copy paper
